Faiçal JOUINI

Faiçal Jouini has a diverse work experience in software development and engineering roles. Currently, they are a Software Developer/DevOps Engineer for quantum control software at Qruise since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Forschungszentrum Jülich from July 2021 to March 2022 in a similar role.

From 2019 to 2021, Faiçal worked at SAP as a Senior Software Development Engineer at AI Foundation. Faiçal was involved in the development of a machine learning platform using technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Python, and Jenkins.

Before SAP, Faiçal worked at Amazon from 2016 to 2019 as a Software Development Engineer. Faiçal also spent some time at Hive, a British Gas Innovation, as a Senior Java Developer from 2015 to 2016.

Faiçal has also gained experience at SAP as a Technical Consultant from 2014 to 2015 and at ASICS as an E-commerce Application Developer from April 2014 to December 2014.

Earlier in their career, Faiçal worked at Rakuten as a Software Developer for Rakuten Travel from July 2013 to March 2014, and at Voyages-sncf.com as a Software Engineer JAVA/J2EE from October 2009 to June 2013. Faiçal started their career at Amadeus as a Software Engineer JAVA/J2EE, where they worked from April 2006 to October 2009 on projects related to the management and storage of travelers' information.

Faiçal Jouini began their education in Engineering Physics at Lycée Jean Perrin from 2001 to 2003. Faiçal then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Sciences at INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon from 2003 to 2006. In 2016, Faiçal enrolled at The Open University, where they completed their BSc (Honours) Natural Sciences (Physics) with First-class Honours in 2021. Currently, Faiçal is studying Physics at Linnaeus University, with an expected graduation date in 2024.
