Liangzi Zhang, Ph.D., is a Research Scientist at Quadram since October 2020, focusing on managing the UK Composition of Foods Integrated Dataset (CoFID) and promoting food data standardization with European collaborators. Prior experience includes serving as a PhD Candidate at RIVM National Institute for Public Health and the Environment from October 2016 to November 2020, where strategies were developed to enhance the cost-effectiveness of dietary data collection in Dutch National Food Consumption Surveys. Liangzi also worked as a Science Writer for guck and held positions at the University of Leeds as a Diet Software Database Assistant, and at Golden Top International Investment & Trade Ltd as a Food Journalist. Early career roles included Girls' Camp Coordinator at Western University and Banking Service Representative at BMO Financial Group. Liangzi holds a PhD in Human Nutrition from Wageningen University & Research and advanced degrees in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Leeds, along with an Honors Specialization in Nutrition and Dietetics from Western University.
