Alumni Engagement Coordinator, Global at Queen Mary University

Dame Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell, DBE, FRS, FREng, FMedSci currently serves as the Alumni Engagement Coordinator (Global) at Queen Mary University. New is a world-renowned scientist and previous Deputy President and Deputy Vice-Chancellor at The University of Manchester. In this role, they were responsible for an annual budget of £1 billion, oversight of the University's internal and external activities, working closely with the University's Executive Team to develop and deliver strategy, chairing various executive committees, and leading multiple initiatives including internationalisation, marketing and branding, and the Sir Henry Royce Institute for Advanced Materials. Under their leadership, the University attracted external funding exceeding £175 million for graphene and advanced materials research.

The individual in this role would have a PhD in Structural Engineering from The University of Sheffield, a BEng in Civil and Structural Engineering from The University of Sheffield, a Higher National Certificate (BTec) in Civil Engineering from Richmond Upon Thames College, Twickenham, and a National Certificate (BTec) in Civil Engineering from Slough College, Wellington Street, Slough.

New role reports to Sonal Hathi, Alumni Engagement Manager (Global).
