Principal Project Officer, Academic Integrity And Research at Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA)

Anthony Barnett has a varied work experience in the education sector. Anthony started as a Subject Leader for Secondary History at The British School Quito in 2007. Anthony then worked as the Director of VI Form at Preston Manor High School from 2009 to 2011 and as the Lead Director of VI Form at Preston Manor School from 2012 to 2014. Anthony then moved to Brentside High School and served as an Assistant Head Teacher from 2014 to 2016. Anthony then joined Brisbane State High School as a Teacher in 2017 and worked there until 2021. During this time, they also worked as a Principal Education Officer (Humanities & Social Sciences) at the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) from 2021 to 2022. Anthony then returned to Brisbane State High School as an Experienced Senior Teacher from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they are employed as the Principal Project Officer for Academic Integrity and Research at the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA).

Anthony Barnett obtained a Master's degree in History from the University of Leeds in 1997. Later in 2000, they pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with a focus on Secondary Education and Teaching at the University of Bristol.
