Aspen Monts has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They began their career as an Itinerant Teacher, modifying general education curriculum for special-needs students and supporting their learning objectives through personalized assistance. After this, Aspen worked as a Campus Coordinator and Instructional Coach, where they planned and implemented lessons using different teaching strategies and coached teachers to improve their practices. They then transitioned to a role as a Human Resources Assistant, where they assisted with HR functions such as interviewing candidates, benefits administration, and training needs assessment. Subsequently, Aspen became a Human Resources Specialist in the Dallas Independent School District, responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle for all district positions and implementing HR strategies aligned with the district's vision. They also maintained relationships with service providers and improved payroll accuracy by implementing ADP. In their most recent role as a Human Resource Generalist at Quench USA, Inc., Aspen partnered with HR Operations and Centers of Excellence to facilitate employee experience programs and provided coaching and support to senior leaders and managers. They also collaborated with functional leaders on performance and talent management processes.

Aspen Monts began their education at the University of North Texas at Dallas in 2020 and completed their Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General in 2021. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2019, they obtained another Master's degree from UT Health San Antonio in Education/Teaching of Individuals with Hearing Impairments Including Deafness. In 2013 to 2016, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Speech-Pathology from the University of North Texas, with a focus on Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist. Aspen's education journey continues as they pursue a Masters degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at Texas Woman's University, expected to be completed by 2023. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained a certification in Understanding Business from LinkedIn in September 2022.
