Peter Jacobsen

Peter Jacobsen is the current CTO at Queue-it. Prior to this, they were the Director of Engineering at Milestone Systems from November 2008 to October 2021. In this role, they oversaw the development and release of Video Management Systems (VMS) for high-end surveillance systems. Peter supervised the VMS & Operations department with approximately 100 dedicated Engineers, including developers, testers, product owners, including a staff of 14 engineering managers placed in Sofia and Copenhagen.

Jacobsen is a mature leader with experience in developing leaders, experts, and organizations. During their time at Milestone Systems, they were involved in starting up the company's R&D site in Sofia, moving the development team from Copenhagen to Sofia, and introducing agile development practices to the company. Peter also built up the team from 50 engineers to over 250 and introduced global processes excellence in R&D.

Peter Jacobsen reports to Niels Henrik Sodemann, Co-Founder & CEO. Some of their coworkers include Jonatan Borges - CFO, Bettina Wæde - Director of People & Culture, and Henrik Bjergegaard - VP of Sales.
