Nathan Kong

Nathan Kong has spent 6 years, building businesses and products in the Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality industry. An entrepreneur at heart, he began his career in high school developing educational products for the K-12 market on the Google VR platform. After completing a year at Stanford, he dropped out to build a collocation AR startup, Beyond One, raising capital from Sequoia Capital, General Catalyst, Amino Capital, and Pear VC. He then moved into AR/VR consulting and returned to Stanford as a part-time student to complete his bachelor’s in Computer Science. Most recently, he served as Product Lead for Mesh Avatars at Microsoft, where he led a 100+ people global team of researchers and engineers to build Microsoft’s largest digital presence platform for the Metaverse.
