Who you are:
You’re an expert at end-to-end B2B prospecting and sales, running discovery calls, delivering highly effective demonstrations, negotiating terms, and maintaining a proven track record of closing new business. To be successful in this role, you will exhibit strong communication and listening skills, be self-motivated, be resilient, be coachable, possess a strong phone presence, understand how to prospect and qualify home remodeling companies, engage new business opportunities with contractors, and build meaningful relationships with potential clients/customers.

Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead end-to-end business acquisition with small & medium size organizations
    • Prospects for new business opportunities through outbound calling, emails, text messages, and social networking
    • Set appointments with contractors and home remodeling companies
    • Drive the sales of Modernize Home Services and navigate to key decision makers
    • Execute a consultative transactional sales process
  • Manage personal pipeline and effectively articulate progress towards key sales goals
  • Directly manage a complex full sales cycle from prospect creation, value proposition, negotiation, and deal closure, utilizing a methodology and sales strategy for your target market
  • Conduct sales meetings and deliver professional proposals and presentations to key decision makers that create high-value business partnerships delivering mutual benefit
  • Assists in developing financial forecasts, and monitors operations for efficiency and quality
  • Follow-up and assist business owners to ensure a smooth integration of Modernize live-lead transfer delivery services into their business operations
  • Utilize CRM system effectively, ensuring information and sales forecasts are accurate
  • Builds upon customer satisfaction and ensures retention through strong client relationships
  • Hand off customer service and non-sales related client inquiries to the Account Management department; focus on selling
  • Direct access to and participate in ongoing sales development and training
  • Close business to achieve, and exceed monthly targets and metrics

Requirements

What You’ll Need:

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years’ experience successfully selling Affiliate Marketing, Live-Call Transfers, SaaS or Technology
  • Experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology
  • A history of consistently over-achieving quota in highly competitive markets
  • Experience using a CRM to manage all business and sales opportunities - experience with SFDC is preferred
  • Highly self-motivated with a hard work ethic and “whatever it takes” attitude
  • History of success in a fast-paced sales and/or startup environment
  • Have a passion for selling and a true “hunter” mentality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to embrace change, growth and the fun of a high-growth environment

The expected salary range for this position is $45,000 USD to $55,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
