Salman Qayyum Mian, Ph.D. has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Project Coordinator at Kinnaird College for Women. From 2005 to 2007, they served as a Software Engineer at NetSol Technologies Inc.

In 2009, Salman joined Turku School of Economics as a Research Assistant, and later that year, they participated as a Business Course Participant at Talent-Quest.

Salman Qayyum currently serves as the Head of Trainings at Qvantel, responsible for overall identification, standardization, and governance of training programs in customer deliveries.

Salman Qayyum Mian, Ph.D. has an extensive education history. Salman Qayyum obtained their Doctoral of Philosophy degree in Information Systems Science from the University of Oulu, which they completed in 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in International Master in Management of IT, simultaneously from Tilburg University, the Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku, and IAE FRANCE - Écoles Universitaires de Management. This was completed between 2007 and 2009.

Before their Master's degree, Salman Qayyum Mian completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, which they obtained between 2001 and 2005.
