Peter Wiwen-Nilsson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Peter started their career as a CFO and co-founder of Replisaurus Technologies, a company focused on commercializing patents. Peter then worked as a Senior Consultant at Applied Value, where they worked internationally in industries such as private equity, automotive, telecom, and retail.
Later, Peter joined ORTIC-Bendiro Group as CEO, leading the development of a new group strategy that included the acquisition of Bendiro and the formation of the ORTIC-Bendiro Group. Afterward, they became the COO and deputy CEO of Elite Hotels of Sweden AB, a privately owned hotel chain, where they were responsible for P&L, executive committee leadership, and board reporting.
Peter then joined Sturebadet Marina Tower as a member of the Board of Directors before joining JLL as the Head of Nordic Hospitality in the Capital Markets division, where they were responsible for hotels and hospitality real estate advisory in the Nordics. Following this, they served as an Associate Member of the Board of Directors at Trivec.
Peter then joined Brunswick Real Estate as a fund manager, overseeing their existing hospitality portfolio and setting up a new hotel real estate fund. Most recently, they became the CEO of Race For The Baltic, a role they hold currently.
Peter Wiwen-Nilsson's education history begins in 1995 when they attended the Amphibious Battalion, Vaxholm (KA1). During this time, they pursued studies in the Swedish Marine Corps (Kustjägare) and was awarded the degree of Sergeant. Peter then enrolled in The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University from 1997 to 2002, earning a Master of Science degree in Engineering Physics. Peter furthered their education at the University of California, Berkeley from 2000 to 2001, where they obtained another Master of Science degree in Engineering Physics.
