Azady Pirhanov is a research fellow at the Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT, and Harvard since December 2022, focusing on immunology and immune engineering. Concurrently, Azady serves as a postdoctoral research affiliate at both the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in chemical engineering and Harvard Medical School. Prior to these roles, Azady was a research assistant at the University of Connecticut from September 2016 to November 2022, specializing in synthetic biology, yeast display, antibody discovery and engineering, protein engineering, optogenetics, and neurodegenerative diseases. Azady holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and a double major Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and Biology/Biological Sciences from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
