Caolan Vaughan McDaid has a diverse education history. From 2020 to 2021, they attended University College Dublin, where they pursued an MSc degree in Biotechnology. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2020, they also studied at University College Dublin and earned a BSc in Biomedical, Health, and Life Sciences. Earlier in their education, from 2010 to 2016, they attended St. Eunan's College and completed their Leaving Certificate.

Additionally, McDaid has obtained several certifications. In September 2020, they received the PH525.1x: Statistics and R certification from HarvardX. In March 2015, they acquired the National Beach Lifeguard Award from Water Safety Ireland.
