Trenda Boyum

Trenda Boyum is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Chapter Chair for the Women Presidents Organization and Principal at TrendaLee Consulting since January 2023 and January 2021, respectively. Boyum has held significant roles at Rasmussen College, including President Emerita and President, where initiatives focused on student success and equity were implemented. Other notable positions include Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Jeremiah Program and Vice President of Enrollment Management & Student Affairs at Metropolitan State University. Boyum’s extensive background in higher education includes academic support roles at Capella University and Minneapolis Community and Technical College, as well as early career experiences at the University of the Incarnate Word and San Antonio College. Boyum holds a Doctorate of Education in Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota, a Master of Science in Counselor Education with an emphasis on Diversity Development from Winona State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Concordia College.
