Production Manager / Lead Process Engineer at Rather Outdoors

Cristian Villalobos Agüero has a diverse range of work experience. Cristian currently works at Rather Outdoors as a Production Manager and Lead Process Engineer. In this role, they are responsible for managing and overseeing all manufacturing and engineering processes for the production of soft fishing lures in Costa Rica. Cristian also served as a Professor Assistant at Universidad de Costa Rica UCR, where they were responsible for planning courses, transferring technical knowledge, providing academic advice, and preparing and reviewing executive documentation. This role lasted from an unspecified date in 2019 to 2021.

Before that, Cristian worked as a Demand Planner at Coocafé from February 2019 to July 2019. In this role, they conducted demand and capacity studies to create a Master Production Schedule that maximized on-time delivery while minimizing overstock. Additionally, they utilized simulation software to balance the production line and reduce costs.

Cristian's earliest work experience was as an Operations Engineer at Distribuidora Universal de Alimentos from July 2018 to December 2018. In this role, they conducted a study of SKU's to optimize rack redistribution and improve warehouse operations. Cristian also developed a tool to balance workloads and monitor performance indicators.

Cristian Villalobos Agüero pursued their education in a chronological manner. In 2010, they enrolled in Yurusti Bilingual High School, where they successfully completed their Honor Graduation. After completing high school, they continued their education at Universidad de Costa Rica UCR, starting in 2015 and graduating in 2019. During this period, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering. Cristian further expanded their knowledge and skillset by pursuing a Licentiate degree in Industrial Engineering at the same university from 2020 to 2021.
