Jessica Rearden, PhD, RN

Jessica Rearden, PhD, RN has extensive experience in the field of clinical science and nursing. Jessica is currently working as the Director of Clinical Science at RayzeBio since September 2021. Prior to this, they held roles at QED Therapeutics, where they served as the Associate Director of Clinical Science from July 2020 to September 2021 and as a Senior Clinical Scientist from May 2019 to July 2020. Jessica also worked as a Clinical Scientist at AbbVie from April 2018 to May 2019.

In their earlier career, Jessica worked at the University of Pennsylvania as the Breast Cancer Clinical Trials Program Director from August 2016 to June 2017. Jessica also served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing from June 2014 to August 2016.

Prior to their academic roles, Jessica worked at the University of Pennsylvania as an Oncology Clinical Research Nurse from September 2006 to April 2014. During this period, they also took on the role of Oncology Clinical Research Nursing Supervisor from April 2008 to August 2009. Before their time at the University of Pennsylvania, they worked as a Clinical Research Nurse at Vita Hematology Oncology from June 2005 to September 2006. Their career in nursing began at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System, where they worked as a Clinical Nurse specializing in Hematology/Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplant from June 2004 to June 2005.

Jessica Rearden, PhD, RN completed their education at various prestigious institutions. Starting in 2000, they attended Cedar Crest College, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree in 2004, with a focus on Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Continuing their academic journey, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing from 2009 to 2010. Lastly, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from the same institution from 2010 to 2014, specializing in an undisclosed field of study.
