Edwin Fox has had a long and varied career in security and defense. Edwin began in 1993 as a Flight Commander at the 742nd Strategic Missile Squadron, where they operated, maintained and secured 5 launch control centers and 50 Minuteman III ICBMs. In 1997, they moved to the 392nd Training Squadron as an ICBM Operations Instructor/Evaluator and Chief, ICBM Publications Element, where they trained weapon system operations, nuclear surety, and Joint Chiefs of Staff Emergence War Order procedures. In 2000, they joined the 18th Space Control Squadron as Commander, Operations/Operations Support/Plans and Tactics Flights, providing operational support to a SECAF program. In 2003, they became an Executive Policy Officer at the National Security Agency, leading staffing activities for all nuclear command and control (NC2) policy issues. From 2006 to 2009, they were at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency as an Inspection Team Leader, Department of Defense, executing the duties and responsibilities of the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) and similar agreements. From 2009 to 2013, they were at the National Reconnaissance Office, first as Chief of Security, Network Operations Group and then as Deputy Chief, Adjudications Branch, Personnel Security Division. From 2013 to 2015, they were at General Dynamics Information Technology as a Security Analyst, managing Privacy Act and Freedom of Information Act request actions. Finally, from 2017 to present, they have been at RDR, Inc. as a Senior Security Analyst, providing expert support for the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Trusted Workforce 2.0/Continuous Evaluation (CE) program covering over 60,000 eligible personnel.
Edwin Fox obtained a Master's degree in Space Studies from the University of North Dakota and a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Utah State University.
