Overview

We're looking for a talented AE who has experience in the enterprise space and likes the hunt. This is a fully remote role. You’ll be joining an awesome team with a very collaborative work environment. We're looking for someone who can come in and build a book of business from scratch. This is a full sales cycle position and your responsibilities will include prospecting, discovery, qualifying opportunities, negotiation and closing. 

What you’ll do

  • Meet or exceed activity, sales goals and quotas as set by the company

  • Responsible for the sales cycle, from building pipeline to closing net new logos

  • Make daily outbound connections with prospective customers

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date forecasts while documenting activities and customer interactions in Salesforce

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to share continual insight into market conditions, customer needs, successes and challenges

  • Build relationships with merchant stakeholders to prepare and execute on agreements and license subscriptions

  • Facilitate the post sale handoff of the customer to the appropriate Merchant Success  team-member

Required experience and mindset

  • Typically 3+ years of Sales, Business Development, or Account Management

  • Strong demonstrable project management skills

  • Understanding of and ability to execute a SaaS sales model including post-sale support

  • Experience within E-commerce space a plus

  • Ability to work remotely effectively

  • Dedicated to creating your own pipeline through referrals, cold outreach, and other sales methodologies

  • Prior experience creating and closing your own pipeline

  • Willingness to travel to partner offices, conferences, and events domestically 20-50% of the time

  • Energized by building something new in a fast-paced, startup environment

  • Set and exceed ambitious targets including quotas with a growth mindset

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Would need to be located in or near New York City or willing to relocate.
