Overview
We are looking for a talented Product Marketing Manager to help our scrappy, tight-knit Marketing team continue to grow Rebuy’s share of the ecommerce tools landscape. You’ll help us define where Rebuy sits in the market, what makes us unique, and how we differentiate ourselves. Working closely with our other go-to-market teams, you’ll develop and refine messaging that we’ll use to communicate that position to customers and create memorable and effective marketing campaigns.
What you’ll do
Become a true subject matter expert on our product, customers, industry, and competitive landscape
Regularly talk with customers and potential customers to better understand their pain points, needs, and motivations
Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis
Develop differentiated positioning and messaging for Rebuy products at each stage of the buyer’s journey
Work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Merchant Success, Partnerships, and Customer Support to bring new products to market
Be a go-to resource for internal teams on value props, market position, and messaging
Be an internal thought-leader on the competitive landscape
Keep product marketing assets up-to-date
Required experience and mindset
3+ years of experience in product marketing for a B2B startup
Bonus: Experience in the ecommerce industry, ideally with Shopify tools
An understanding of how to gather, organize, analyze, and interpret both qualitative and quantitative data
Ability to distill complex information into easy to understand, digestible content for internal teams
A clear grasp of the core pillars of PMM (positioning, messaging, packaging, and pricing)
Strong collaboration skills and excited to work across functions
Very well organized, adept at managing multiple projects at once, expert-level prioritization skills, and strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment and comfortable acting with incomplete information
A desire to grow, learn, and try new things
