Dr. Ulrike Lemke

Dr. Ulrike Lemke has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Dr. Ulrike is currently the Business Unit President Sterile Fill & Finish at Recipharm since November 2022, and previously served as the Chief Transformation Officer at the company from July 2021 to November 2022. Additionally, they are the Chairwoman of the Board at NewBiologix since March 2022. Prior to this, Dr. Lemke held various roles at Sartorius, including Head of Marketing Bioprocessing Solutions, SVP from September 2019 to July 2021. Dr. Ulrike also served as a Board Member at BIA Separations from October 2020 to June 2021. Furthermore, Dr. Lemke worked at Lonza, where they held positions such as Global Head of Marketing, Pharma & Biotech, VP from November 2018 to September 2019 and Global Head of Marketing, Pharma & Biotech, Senior Director from January 2017 to October 2018. Dr. Ulrike also served as the Head of Business Analytics from August 2014 to December 2016. Prior to this, they worked at Syngenta as a Business Intelligence Manager from February 2012 to February 2014, where they provided market and competitive intelligence for business decision making. Dr. Lemke also has experience working as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company from November 2007 to December 2011, as a Research Associate at DSM from January 2003 to August 2003, as a Research Associate - Bioprocess Development at Medarex from September 2001 to February 2002, and as a Research Associate at Cellular Products from March 1998 to August 2001.

Dr. Ulrike Lemke earned a Master's degree in Biochemistry from Leipzig University in 2001. Dr. Ulrike then pursued a PhD in Functional Genomics at Heidelberg University, which they completed in 2007. Between 2003 and 2004, they worked at the Max-Planck-Institute for Molecular Physiology, focusing on cancer treatment strategies for colon cancer.
