Craig Pocock has a diverse and extensive work experience. Craig has worked in various leadership roles in the banking and financial sector.

Starting in 1988, they began their career at NatWest Bank, where they held various HR positions and gained knowledge and experience in different aspects of HR.

In 1995, Pocock joined Lloyds Banking Group, where they held several roles, including Head of HR for Direct Channels and Senior HR Business Partner for the UK Retail Banking Division. Craig was responsible for strategic and operational accountabilities, as well as the design and implementation of HR policies and practices.

In 2008, Pocock joined Nationwide Building Society as the Director of People, Performance & Development, and later served as the Director, HR Business Partnering. Craig led a team of HR professionals and provided front-line relationship management and advisory services to key members of the Board and Executive Committee.

In 2018, Pocock joined Global Risk Partners Limited as the Chief People Officer, where they were responsible for developing and executing the people strategy and establishing the HR function across the group. Craig also oversaw the acquisition and integration processes of multiple insurance intermediaries, underwriters, and managing agents.

Most recently, in 2019, Pocock joined Recognise Bank as the Chief People Officer. Craig played a crucial role in establishing the bank and building a credible HR function, including policies and procedures. Craig also led the restructuring of the City of London Group and recruited a diverse team, including a Board of Non-Executive Directors.

Craig Pocock obtained a Masters degree in Human Resource Management from the University of the West of England between 2002 and 2004. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in Personnel Management from the same university between 1988 and 1993.
