Jason Lepore

EVP, Operations at Recurrent Ventures

Jason Lepore has over a decade of experience launching and managing digital media brands. He is the SVP of Recurrent’s Home and Automotive brands and is responsible for all editorial and revenue operations for Domino, Saveur, The Drive, and more.

Jason initially joined Recurrent in 2021 to help oversee the integration of newly acquired media brands but was soon elevated to General Manager of the Automotive, Military, and Defense vertical. Prior to being named SVP, he spent more than a year growing the footprint of the auto and military brands, as well as integrating Donut into Recurrent.

Prior to Recurrent, he was the co-founder and General Manager of Hunker, a digital home and design publication with the mission of inspiring and empowering readers to create spaces that fully express who they are. He oversaw multiple expansions of the brand, including the launch of the Hunker House in 2019 and the Being Home Podcast in 2021. Under his stewardship, it grew into one of the largest home brands in the US (per Comscore) and developed partnerships with some of the largest brands in the country such as Walmart, The Home Depot, and Target.

Prior to his run with Hunker, he served as VP, Media for the Leaf Group, where he ran both its Programmatic and Ad Ops teams across the entire portfolio. Before joining the Leaf Group, he began his career at Packaged Sports and Entertainment, an agency where he managed the accounts for EA SPORTS, Sports Illustrated, and NFL Films.

Jason has a BA from Villanova University in Political Science and Communication, and an MBA from Pepperdine’s Graziadio Business School.
