Jay Rees

Jay Rees has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Jay is currently the Director of Finance and Accounting, Specialty Products at The Redwood Group LLC, where they work closely with the CFO to ensure accounting and reporting alignment. Jay is also responsible for financial close processes, budgeting, and balance sheet reconciliations. Prior to their current role, they were the Senior Manager of Business Process Improvement at The Redwood Group LLC, where they identified opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement. Before joining The Redwood Group LLC, Jay Rees was the Director of Accounting & Control at Scoular, where they managed the operational accounting department for the North American Grain & Oilseeds Division. Jay also co-managed the Accounting & Control staff and was responsible for ad hoc analysis, reporting, and balance sheet review. Jay has also held accounting and control positions at The Scoular Company, Farmland Industries, Canadian Harvest USA LP, and ConAgra Foods.

Jay Rees attended Mount Saint Clare College from 1980 to 1984, where they pursued a double major in Business Accounting. Jay successfully completed their studies and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in this field.
