What You’ll Do

As a Senior Accountant and Reporting Specialist at REEF, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and coordinating accounting functions and programs.

• Preparing comprehensive financial analyses, revenue projections, and forecasting expenditures.

• Assisting in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, and leading annual audit preparations.

• Maintaining and reconciling balance sheets and general ledger accounts.

• Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and compliance issues.

• Preparing federal, local, and special tax returns in alignment with IFRS and US GAAP.

• Contributing to the development and implementation of new or improved accounting systems, programs, and procedures.

• Mentoring and supporting junior accounting staff as needed.

• Making strategic recommendations based on analysis of reserves, assets, and expenditures.

About You

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional who is ready to make an impact. The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on financial reporting and compliance.

• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP

• Exceptional financial analysis skills, and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with advanced competency in accounting and business management software.

• A proven ability to train and manage staff independently, with little to no supervision required.
