Cathy O'sullivan

Cathy O'Sullivan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the University of California system since November 2003. Currently serving as Chief of Staff to the Chief Operating Officer, Cathy advises Rachael Nava on various projects and initiatives while managing the COO's office activities. Notable contributions include directing the "Working Smarter" Efficiency Initiative, which focuses on implementing best practice administrative systems across the UC campuses. Prior roles include Interim Chief of Staff for both the COO and CFO positions and Sr. Contracts Manager at Cathy Tonsing. Cathy's earlier career includes significant contributions to Intel Capital and Oracle, complemented by academic credentials including an MBA from the University of California, Davis, and a BA in Urban Planning from UC San Diego.
