Cristian Peña

Cristian Peña has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Cristian is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at REIX since October 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Designer at Globant from August 2018 to October 2019. Cristian also worked as a Java Developer at Tata Consultancy Services from March 2018 to August 2018.

Before joining Tata Consultancy Services, Cristian worked at Indra Colombia Ltda where they held two separate roles. From January 2016 to February 2018, they worked as a Technical Lead JAVA, and from July 2013 to December 2015, they worked as a Senior Developer.

Cristian also worked as a Senior Developer at Jaime Torres C y Cía S.A. from August 2012 to July 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Java Developer at Stefanini Informatica y Tecnologia (Colombia) from September 2011 to July 2012.

Cristian'scareer began at Indra Colombia Ltda in June 2010, where they worked as a Java Developer until June 2011. Prior to that, they worked at Mayasoft as a Java Developer from February 2009 to May 2010.

Cristian Peña pursued their Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering at Universidad Industrial de Santander. Cristian obtained a certification as an Oracle Certified Professional in Java SE 6 in April 2012. In April 2014, they achieved another certification as an Oracle Certified Expert in EE 6 Enterprise JavaBeans, both from Oracle. Later, in 2015 and 2016, Cristian attended Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas to complete a specialist degree in Software Engineering. Additionally, they have a certification as a Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
