Yushan Yan

Yushan Yan began their career in 1996 as a Senior Staff Engineer for AlliedSignal. In 1998, they moved to the University of California, Riverside, where they held the roles of Professor, University Scholar, Presidential Chair, and Department Chair. In 2011, they joined the University of Delaware as the Henry B. du Pont Chair in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering, Distinguished Engineering Professor, and Founding Associate Dean for Research and Entrepreneurship. In 2017, they founded and became CEO of Versogen, and in 2021 they co-founded RepAir Carbon Capture.

Yushan Yan obtained a BS in Chemical Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1988. Yushan then continued their studies at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Acadermy of Sciences from 1988 to 1992. Finally, they earned their PhD in Chemical Engineering from Caltech in 1996.
