Kara O'Leary

With over 20 years’ global experience in talent development and building teams, Kara leverages her organizational effectiveness background and training in executive coaching to help drive innovative best practices across HR, Learning, Employee Engagement, DE&I, and Talent Acquisition. Kara has successfully created strategic talent initiatives within consulting organizations and high-growth media agencies, and her strategic approach to talent is a differentiator in the marketplace. Kara’s expertise in talent transformation and people operations has enabled her to be able to work effectively during rapid growth periods and build people and process capabilities to scale while maintaining operational excellence. Kara strongly believes in creating a coaching culture, with the power of listening as a critical component to understanding employee motivation, building effective teams, and managing the significant organizational change inherent in an entrepreneurial organization.

Kara serves on the executive committee at Resolution providing people-focused thought leadership around talent shifts, performance, succession planning, organizational design, compensation strategies, and diversity & inclusion efforts. Outside of work, Kara enjoys spending time traveling with her husband and nine-year-old son. You can find her visiting extended family and friends, traveling, trying new restaurants, and exercising (on occasion!).
