Sonya Vance-Brown

Sonya Vance-Brown has been working in admissions for over 15 years. Sonya began their career at Kaplan College in 2004 and was quickly promoted to Director of Admissions. Sonya then moved to DeVry University in 2009 and held the same position.

During their time at DeVry, they increased the number of degree students by 55%. Sonya also grew the campus by 217%. Sonya was recognized for their outstanding achievements with numerous awards, including the Excellence in Training Award and the Most Improved DOA Award. In 2007, they were ranked #7 out of 72 schools.

In their current role as Associate Director of Recruitment at Revature, Sonya is responsible for hiring, training, and motivating recruitment staff. Sonya also oversees the advertising budget and works closely with the advertising manager to ensure positive lead flow.

Sonya Vance-Brown has a Masters of Human Resource Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University.

Sonya Vance-Brown reports to Elsa Burns, SVP, Recruitment & Workforce Partnerships. They are on a team with Bryan Fleming - Associate Director, Recruitment, Kennon Harrison - VP, Workforce Partnerships.
