Andrea Tattersall

Andrea Tattersall has extensive experience in laboratory operations and medical affairs. Andrea started their career at Oxford Immunotec in 2005 as a Manager of Product Support, where they managed a team of Technical Support specialists and oversaw customer lab demonstrations and product evaluations. From 2012 to 2014, Andrea held the role of Manager at Oxford Diagnostic Laboratories Ltd. Andrea then became the Director of Oxford Diagnostic Laboratories (ODL) in 2014, where they successfully grew the business from a small research lab to a professional, accredited National reference Lab. Andrea went on to assume various roles at Oxford Immunotec, including Director of ODL and Medical Affairs (OUS) and Director of Medical Affairs EMEAI, where they led the recruiting, managing, and developing of Medical Affairs Team members and maintained strong relationships with key stakeholders. Andrea also played a key role in implementing tuberculosis and COVID plans for the EMEAI region. In 2023, Andrea will be joining Revvity as the Director of Laboratory Operations, where they will be responsible for people management and development, as well as overall leadership in technical and operational performance.

Andrea Tattersall obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of East Anglia, John Innes Centre UEA Norwich UK, starting in 2000 and ending in 2005. Prior to that, they completed a lab rotations year as part of their PhD at the Instituto Gulbenkian Ciencia in 1999-2000. Andrea also holds a Biochemistry degree from the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Lisbon, which they completed from 1994 to 1999.
