Steven Maytum

Steve Maytum is a seasoned mechanical designer and engineer with extensive experience in military and industrial systems design. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Designer at American Rheinmetall, Steve focuses on Fuel Systems and Environmental Control Systems for the XM30 Combat Vehicle. Previous roles include Lead Mechanical Design Engineer at Cummins Inc., where Steve specialized in fuel system design for various applications, and Lead Senior Mechanical Designer at Meggitt, contributing to the development of heat exchangers for military projects. Steve has a strong foundation in design software, including PTC Creo and Teamcenter, and has overseen significant projects across renowned companies such as Raytheon and Cummins Engine Company. Educationally, Steve holds an AOS in Tool Design from Alfred State College, with additional certification in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing from Purdue University.
