Daniel Akoto

Daniel Akoto has worked in various roles since 2016. In 2016, they were a Volunteer at Genesis Health System, where they assisted in providing quality service for elderly retirees and scheduled events for them. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Team Member at Wegmans Food Markets, where they assisted the sous chef in cooking dishes for customers. During this time, they also worked with a team of 20-30 people to prepare meals and improve work efficiency. In 2020, they were an Extern at AT&T, where they learned to communicate better, resolve problems, focus strictly, and engage with coworkers respectfully. Daniel also learned communication, time management, machine learning, and diversity and inclusion. Currently, they are a Full Stack Developer at Rhombus Power Inc. and a Prep Cook at Whole Foods Market.

Daniel Akoto's education history includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from Towson University, which they are currently pursuing and is expected to complete in 2022. Prior to that, they attended Prince George's Community College from 2017 to 2019, studying Computer Science. Daniel completed their high school education at Charles Herbert Flowers High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma in General Studies in 2017. Additionally, Daniel has obtained certifications in Java (Basic) from HackerRank in 2021 and as an AT&T Summer Learning Academy Extern from AT&T in 2020.
