Biswajit Let

Biswajit Let has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Biswajit is currently working as a Lead Research Scientist at Rivaara Labs since April 2022. Before that, they worked at Suraksha Diagnostics as a Laboratory Incharge for the North East region and as a Section Incharge for the Molecular Pathology Lab from June 2020 to April 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Clinical Research Associate at MedGenome Labs Private Ltd from April 2017 to May 2020. In this role, their responsibilities included coordinating with clients for specimen collection and transport, isolating DNA/RNA from various specimens, and performing quality control using specialized equipment. Biswajit also worked at the National Tuberculosis Institute from October 2014, where they contributed to a collaborative project with the Government of India, World Health Organization, and the U.S Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Biswajit also had a role at the Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme from August 2013 to October 2014, where they were involved in establishing rapid diagnostic services for tuberculosis.

Biswajit Let completed their Master's Degree in Microbiology, General from The University of Burdwan, spanning from 2010 to 2012. In addition, they acquired several certifications from various institutions. These include Advanced Excel from Amity University in July 2023, Certified Product Manager (CPM) from Great Learning in July 2023, and Medical Laboratory System and Internal Audit as per ISO 15189: 2022 from the Quality Council of India (QCI) in June 2023. Biswajit also obtained training in Line Probe Assay - Molecular diagnosis of TB from FIND, Geneva Switzerland, and National Tuberculosis Institute (NTI) in Bangalore, both without specified dates.
