Jennifer O'Neill

Jennifer O'Neill has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Jennifer started their career in 2003 as a News Reporter/Anchor at WTAX-AM, where they covered various stories including the fatal shooting at the Illinois State Capitol building. In 2005, they joined WBBM-AM as a News Reporter/Writer before moving on to WJOL-AM as a News Reporter/Anchor, where they covered local news stories and the release of Kevin Fox from prison. In 2011, Jennifer worked at WIQI-FM as a News Reporter/Anchor, reporting on crime, politics, and major events such as the sentencing of former Governor Rob Blagojevich. Jennifer then worked at the Illinois Media Center as an Instructor, teaching audio editing and radio ad copywriting. From 2012 to 2015, Jennifer served as an Anchor/Reporter at WLS-AM/WLS-FM, where they covered news and traffic, did live reports for major events, and worked as a web editor. Since 2013, they have been a News Reporter/Podcast Producer at Rivet Radio, responsible for writing, voicing, and producing news stories, as well as producing video content and editing for various platforms. Currently, Jennifer is a Producer at Whetstone Radio Collective, starting in 2021.

Jennifer O'Neill began their education at the College of DuPage from 1995 to 1997. Jennifer did not obtain a degree during this time, and their field of study remains unknown. Following this, they attended Columbia College Chicago from 1998 to 2000, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Radio Broadcasting.
