Ron Vo

Ron Vo is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the automotive and aerospace industries. Currently serving as a Staff Mechanical Engineer at Rivian since January 2019, Ron Vo specializes in the design and development of electric drive systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Prior to Rivian, Ron Vo held positions at Faraday Future, where responsibilities included electric drive development and leading mechanical design for EV powertrain units. Additional experience includes roles at Eaton, COM DEV USA, Jacobs Technology, Barrios Technology, and CEMEX, covering mechanical design, project engineering, testing support, and leadership development in various engineering contexts. Ron Vo earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
