Lee Mbugua

Lee Mbugua has been working in the software development industry since 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they were a Mobile Applications Developer Intern at Kenya E-learning Center, where they developed and edited e-learning materials, troubleshot the Kenya e-learning website, and developed a mobile application for e-learning. In 2012, they were a Web Architect at MobiConnect, designing web interfaces and CMS platforms. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Co-Founder at Sarea. In 2013, they were a Senior Software Development Engineer and Frontend Engineer at Roamtech, where they were responsible for analyzing user requirements, envisioning system features and functionality, and developing web applications. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Software Developer at Oxygen8 Group, where they were responsible for implementing and integrating Application Programming Interfaces APIs for mobile money transfer services with collaboration with mobile service providers in Africa. Since 2018, they have been a Web Software Developer at WhiteRhino Ventures Ltd. and, since 2020, they have been the Head of Product Development at Roamtech Solutions Limited.

Lee Mbugua received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mobile Programming from Africa Nazarene University between 2008 and 2011. Lee then went on to receive a Master's Degree in Distributed Computing Systems with a focus on Real Time and Embedded Systems from the University of Nairobi between 2015 and 2018.
