Alanis Rivera Hernandez has a diverse work experience. Alanis started their career in 2016 as a Customer Service Representative at General Dynamics Information Technology, where they assisted customers with researching issues, providing accurate information, and enrolling in health plans. Alanis continued in a similar role at FEMA in 2017, completing financial assistance applications for those affected by natural disasters. In 2018, they worked as a Bilingual Customer Service Representative at Examination Management Services Inc, handling health and life insurance applications.

Alanis then transitioned to the retail industry, working as a Sales Associate at Victoria's Secret from 2019 to 2020. Alanis Rivera Hernandez completed their education in the field of air traffic control. Alanis first attended Texas State Technical College Waco from 2018 to 2020, where they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Air Traffic Controller. Afterwards, they pursued further education at Texas A&M University–Central Texas in 2021 and obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations. Lastly, in 2021, they attended Advanced ATC for additional training in the field of Air Traffic Controller.
