Mark D. Gray

Principal, Geotechnical & Environmental Divisions at Rone Engineering

Mr. Gray oversees geotechnical and environmental divisions at Rone Engineering. He is a partner with the firm and brings extensive leadership experience, consultative skills and business development tools to the firm with 36 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry. Prior to joining Rone in 2001, Mr. Gray served as President of Environmental Biotech of San Antonio and Austin. Before that he held leadership roles with Huntingdon in Kansas City and Tulsa, as well as Southwestern Laboratories in Dallas and Fort Worth, prior to their acquisition by Huntingdon. Mr. Gray’s professional experience includes key consulting roles on many large projects including transportation studies, industrial distribution and manufacturing facilities, high-rise structures, and commercial and residential developments. He specializes in account management and geotechnical solutions for all shallow and deep foundation infrastructure developments. Mr. Gray has focused the past 15+ years of his career, dedicated to controlling ground movement below infrastructure. He has been a leader in the quest for ground movement control, enabling Rone to be a leader in the industry. Mr. Gray has tirelessly led Rone’s engineering services to reach a point where Rone exceeds the industry in critical areas of ground risk and certain types of infrastructure development. With Mark’s engineering leadership, Rone continues to differentiate itself as different and better.

Mark holds a BS in civil engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.
