James M.

James M. has over 10 years of work experience in the engineering field. James began their career in 2010 as a Research Assistant at the RAND Corporation, followed by an Associate Engineer position at Nokomis, Inc. In 2013, they became a Staff Scientist at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they supported geospatial analysis for the US Government. In 2014, they moved to HumanGeo as a Technologist. In 2016, they took on a role as Software Engineer at Social Tables and then moved to Bloomberg LP in 2017 as a Senior Engineer. In 2018, they started working at Capsule8 as a Senior Engineer, where they were responsible for code ownership of a React UI for cloud security management, alerting, investigation and exploration, as well as spinning off an open-source datagrid component library. In 2021, they worked at Datavant as a Software Engineer and at Sophos as a Senior Engineer. James is currently employed at Roomie as a Lead Engineer.

James M. began their education in 2004 at The Pennington School. James then attended Mercer County Community College from 2007 to 2008, where they earned an Associate of Science in Computer Science. In 2005, they started at Carnegie Mellon University and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Physics.
