Farooq I. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to 2022. Farooq started as a Bus Driver at National Express in 2008 and later became a Claims Manager at Hire Alert Ltd, where they set up the business from scratch and negotiated compensation for clients.

In 2014, Farooq joined IBM as a Trainee Software Engineer, where they tested software, developed applications, and conducted Quality Assurance testing. Farooq I. pursued their education in Computer Science at Aston University from 2012 to 2016, obtaining a Bachelor's Degree. Before that, from 2011 to 2012, they completed an Access to HE Diploma in ICT with a focus on Information Technology at South Birmingham College.
