Sarah Indyk

VP, Philanthropic Services at Rose Community Foundation

Sarah Indyk is Vice President of Philanthropic Services at Rose Community Foundation. In her role, Indyk leads and champions the Foundation’s work to support and enhance the philanthropy of generous people, steward nonprofit endowments and build a culture of place-based and intergenerational philanthropy in the Greater Denver region. Since joining the Foundation in 2007, Indyk has held positions in the executive, programs, and philanthropic services teams. An experienced facilitator, she has worked with donors and giving circles to support them in developing philanthropic strategies and processes to achieve their goals, and created and led initiatives at the intersection of the Foundation’s programs and grantmaking work. Prior to her role as Vice President of Philanthropic Services, Indyk served as the Foundation’s Chief of Staff, supporting the president and CEO and working interdepartmentally to develop the Foundation’s strategic plan and culture plan.

Originally from Washington, D.C., Indyk has a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Yale, a Master of Acupuncture from the Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado, Denver. Prior to joining the Foundation, she taught elementary school in New York City with Teach For America, and in Longmont, Colorado.
