Maria Edilova, PhD, is a Scientist I at BlueRock Therapeutics since February 2021, and previously served as a Research Associate at The Hospital for Sick Children, focusing on high-dimensional mass cytometry to identify high-risk sub-types and residual disease in acute myeloid leukemia. As a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto from August 2016 to January 2020, Maria developed a novel therapy for chronic lymphocytic leukemia in collaboration with the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research. Maria also contributed as a Core Flow Cytometry Facility Assistant, teaching assistant for Practical Immunology, and Academic Don at Trinity College, where responsibilities included providing tutoring, organizing study sessions, and fostering a supportive academic community. Maria holds a PhD in Fundamental Immunology and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Immunology, both from the University of Toronto.
