Kelly Pereira, RBC’s Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), has global responsibility for Human Resources – extending to over 86,000 employees in 29 countries. Kelly is part of RBC's ten-member Group Executive which is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction of RBC.

Before becoming CHRO in 2022, Kelly was Senior Vice President, Talent Strategy & Solutions, leading the development and execution of enterprise-wide strategy and programs for Leadership, Learning & Performance, Future of Work and Culture, Diversity & Inclusion and Organizational Effectiveness. Kelly co-led the first phase of a multi-year transformation designed to create a more agile, future-ready and digitally-enabled HR function.

Kelly began her career with RBC in 1995, holding increasingly senior roles in Personal & Commercial Banking and in Human Resources. In her more than 25 years in financial services, she has become known as a dynamic leader with deep expertise in building and executing strategies that unlock the potential of people, enable innovation and drive business growth. She has led many programs that have strengthened RBC’s inclusive culture, advanced the strategic impact of the HR function, and elevated RBC’s reputation as an employer of choice.

Kelly holds a Master of Arts degree in Leadership from the University of Guelph.
