Steve Bodon

Steve Bodon has over 17 years of experience in the energy and minerals industry. From 2011 to 2022, they held various roles at Sasol Exploration & Production International, including Assets General Manager Exploration & Production West Africa and Senior Manager Assets & New Ventures: Unconventional Gas. From 2004 to 2011, they were employed at Anglo American, where they held the roles of Regional Manager: Gas Projects, Exploration & Production and Resource Manager/Divisional Geoscientist: Gas Projects, Exploration & Production. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Business Development Partner at Private: Renewable Energy, Europe. In 2017, they were Managing Partner (EMEA) at Simulation Analytics. From 2018 to 2022, they were a Consultant at CSA Global (an ERM Group Company). Finally, in 2022, they were appointed General Manager Higginsville Operations and General Manager Exploration | Alt. General Manager Higginsville Operations at Karora Resources, as well as Non-Executive Director at Accelerate Resources Limited.

Steve Bodon completed their education in 2010 with an Advanced Social Management Programme (ASMP) from the University of Cambridge, studying Business Administration and Sustainability Leadership. In 2007, they completed a Management Development Programme (MDP) from Stellenbosch University, studying Business Administration, Management and Operations. In 2002, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD from the University of Tasmania, studying Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences. In 1994, they completed a Master of Science - MS from Monash University, studying Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences. Finally, in 1986, they completed a Bachelor of Science - BS from Federation University Australia, studying Geoscience (with Mining Engineering).
