Oliver Turner

Oliver Turner, CFA has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Oliver began their work experience in 2007 at Syncrude Canada Ltd., where they operated heavy haulers in different work zones. In 2008 and 2009, they worked as a Mining Equity Research Associate at Macquarie Bank, conducting financial modeling and providing coverage on gold and base metal companies. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at GMP Securities as a Precious Metals Analyst and Equity Research Associate, covering mining companies and analyzing the precious metals market. In 2017, they joined Reality Check Systems VR as a Special Advisor in Business Development, focusing on virtual reality and 360 video tour solutions for the mining industry. In 2019, they joined Karora Resources as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Investor Relations. In 2021, they were promoted to Executive Vice President in the same company. Their work experience includes roles in research, analysis, business development, and corporate development.

Oliver Turner, CFA completed their Senior Executive Leadership Program at the London Business School from 2021 to 2022, specializing in Executive studies. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from Queen's University, attending from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their educational background, Oliver obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in August 2012.
