Devin Pastoor is currently a Solutions Engineer at RStudio. Devin was previously with Metrum Research Group from July 2018 to January 2022, where they were an Expert in Residence. Prior to that, they were with FDA from April 2016 to December 2017 as an ORISE Fellow, conducting research on the factors that drive the safety and efficacy of warfarin and novel oral anticoagulants for stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation and treatment and prevention of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolisms. Devin has also interned with Merck in their quantitative pharmacology and pharmacometrics department in June 2014 to August 2014, evaluating covariate model building strategies and developing a clinical trial simulator. Devin's other experience includes working as a Clinical Research Scientist at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy from August 2012 to December 2017, as well as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at North Carolina State University from January 2011 to August 2012.

Devin Pastoor completed a PhD in Pharmacometrics from the University of Maryland Baltimore. Devin also has a Masters in Toxicology from North Carolina State University and a Bs in Biochemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Devin is also a Computer Software Engineer from Hack Reactor.
