DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

RTC Communications is a high-performing, fast-paced telecommunications organization with a 75-year history looking for an experienced and energetic individual to fill the position of Digital Marketing Specialist.  The Digital Marketing Specialist at RTC Communications thrives on creativity, learning new platforms and new techniques, and keeping up with digital marketing trends. You’ll be hands-on, working with a team to develop and implement digital marketing content and strategies to optimize the online user experience, increase marketing effectiveness, assist with marketing campaigns, improve customer satisfaction, and drive lead generation for commercial and residential broadband services.

The ability to use your understanding of digital marketing and apply it to both B2C and B2B are necessary for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to developing marketing strategies and achieving set goals.

  • Curate, create and publish content across various channels (websites, social media, blogs, search engines, email, video, and print).

  • Contribute to the development and execution of advertising campaigns across multiple channels.

  • Measure overall content effectiveness by analyzing and reporting success metrics.

  • Optimize content considering target markets and audiences.

  • Continuously monitor, measure, and report on activities, trends, and campaign results and provide insights to drive improvement of strategies.

  • Effectively generate customer leads, develop and implement lead funnels and audience targeting efforts.

  • Influencer identification, outreach, list management, and results analytics

  • Research and test new platforms for relevance.

  • Identify new opportunities for growth and methods to improve efficiency.

  • Provide recommendations for cohesive brand development.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to produce high-quality content and results.

  • Work as part of a multi-faceted Marketing Team for digital marketing and face to face marketing.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience in Digital Marketing.

  • Content creation and design experience.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, web design, social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok), content management systems.

  • Knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or other media editing software.

  • Knowledge of online platforms including, Social Media Management tools, Constant Contact (Email Campaign), Google Suite of products (Ads, Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, Merchant Center), Bing Ads, Facebook/LinkedIn/Instagram/TikTok Ads, or other similar online platforms.

  • An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines.

  • Project management skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Relevant work experience in Online Marketing, Digital Media, or relevant field(s).

A bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field is preferred, with additional experience of 3-5 years of marketing and/or sales management in the telecommunications industry.
