Isabel Gervis

Isabel Gervis has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Isabel most recently worked as a Process Engineer III at Rubi Laboratories starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they were a Process Engineer II at Eat Just, Inc. from June 2022 to March 2023.

From July 2021 to May 2022, Isabel worked at Demetrix as a Senior Process Engineer and previously as a Process Engineer from September 2019 to June 2021. Isabel'srole involved upstream processing, process development, and troubleshooting yeast fermentations. Isabel also conducted controlled experiments, analyzed data, and assisted with scale-up and tech transfer.

Isabel has also worked as a Tissue Engineering Research Associate at SCE - Shamoon College of Engineering in July and August 2019. Isabel has prior experience as a Tutor at the Academic Assistance and Tutoring Center and as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Simmons Lab at the University of California, Davis.

In addition, they gained experience as a Development Intern at DuPont in the summer of 2018 and as an R&D Intern at Biocare Medical in the summer of 2017. Isabel has held positions as a Substitute Teacher at Congregation Bet Haverim and as a Team Leader at Galileo Learning.

Isabel's early work experience includes a role as a Sales Associate at G.R. DOODLEBUG in 2015.

Isabel Gervis completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis. Isabel attended the university from 2015 to 2019. In addition to their degree, Isabel obtained two additional certifications. In January 2019, they received the California Food Handler certification from ANSi. Furthermore, in June 2020, they obtained the TUDelft: Industrial Biotechnology certification from edX.
