Peter Josefsson-Ruud

Peter Josefsson-Ruud has a diverse work experience spanning over different companies and roles. Currently, they are working at Ruter As as a Tech Lead for their Data Platform. In this role, they are jointly responsible for researching, designing, implementing, and operating the company's new Data Platform. Peter focuses on facilitating a data mesh strategy that promotes data democracy and transparency. Prior to this, Peter worked at FotoWare, where they held various roles including Product Manager, Data & Insights, Head of Development, Acting Chief Technology Officer, and Tech Lead. Peter was also a Senior Consultant at Knowit, a Project Manager at Questback, a Consultant at Descartes Systems Group, a Presale/System Consultant at Link Nordic AS, and held multiple roles at Confirmit, including Team Lead, Senior Solutions Consultant, Solutions Consultant, and Professional Services Consultant. Peter began their career as a Systems Developer at Aspiro and later worked as a Traffic Controller/Coordinator at Taxi Kurir.

Peter Josefsson-Ruud has a BSc in Engineering (Computer) from Chalmers University of Technology, which they obtained from 1999 to 2002. In 2002, they attended Bond University for IT studies. Peter later pursued Project Management in Practice at Jönköping University from 2015 to 2016. In 2012, they completed studies in C# with Biztalk at Karlstad University. In 2017, they attended University West for Applied Statistics - collecting and summarizing data. Additionally, Peter has obtained several certifications, including those from Microsoft and Snowflake, specializing in Azure, data analysis, and various other technical fields.
