Mark Center

Mark Center has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mark currently works as the Senior Director of Strategic Change Management at RxBenefits, Inc. Mark joined the company in 2018 and has held various roles, including Director of Portfolio Management and Director of Strategic Initiatives.

Before joining RxBenefits, Mark worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama for 16 years. During this time, they held roles such as LSS Black Belt & Manager in the Office of Strategy and Project Management, Operations Manager, Manager, and Business Analyst. Mark was responsible for leading process improvement initiatives, managing projects, mentoring and coaching team members, and analyzing business problems.

Prior to their work in the healthcare industry, Mark worked as a Structural Engineer at Tucker-Jones Engineers Associated, P.C. Here, they designed and managed projects for commercial, retail, institutional, and residential structures.

Mark Center obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University, where they attended from 1992 to 1997. Mark then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Samford University, completing their degree from 2004 to 2008. Mark also obtained various certifications, including the Advent Leadership Academy from Harvard Business School in June 2021, Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci in 2021, and Project Management Professional (PMP)® from the Project Management Institute in 2015. Mark also holds a certification as an LSS Black Belt from Tactegra, and a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
