Sacramento County Department of Airports is owned and operated by the County of Sacramento. We work together to connect our region to the world. 

Four airports comprise the Sacramento County Department of Airports:
	- Sacramento International Airport – Focuses on passenger aviation 
	- Mather Airport – Focuses on cargo aviation
	- Executive Airport – Focuses on general aviation 
	- Franklin Field – Focuses on general aviation training activities 

Each of the airports support the others in the system by having a strategic focus. This enables the airports to focus on the uses that are best suited for their facilities, services and customers.

Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is your gateway between Northern California destinations and major cities across the U.S. and the world. Located 12 miles from downtown Sacramento and always open, service is available from 12 major carriers.

The Airport Operations team at Sacramento International Airport oversees the daily management, safety, and efficiency of airport activities. They ensure smooth coordination of passenger and cargo services, enforce regulatory compliance, manage facilities and equipment maintenance, and enhance airport concessions and air service development to meet the needs of travelers and airlines.
